PALM SUGAR
DN has been working with this product for several years. As more and more farmer cooperatives, particular in Central Java, are requesting assistance with marketing palm sugar in different forms, DN must prepare itself for a substantially large scale of operations.
A sucessful series of preparatory workshops with farmer froups and endusers was held at the end of 2004. Marketing efforts will be directed at the domestic market, as well as markets in Europe and japan.
